FarmFin ("the Service") is a personal-finance tool that bridges Plaid-connected financial accounts with a Google Sheet you own, exposing both as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server consumable by AI assistants. FarmFin is a product of BrunchLabs, LLC.
FarmFin is a bookkeeping and observability tool. It does not provide financial advice, does not move money, does not place trades, and does not initiate transactions on your behalf. Any decisions made on the basis of data you see in FarmFin are yours alone.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. To use FarmFin you must sign in with a Google account, which authenticates you and authorizes us to read from and write to a Google Sheet on your behalf. Each Google account corresponds to one user; users belong to a household.
Plaid: By linking accounts through Plaid Link, you authorize FarmFin to read account, balance, transaction, holding, investment-transaction, and liability data for those accounts on a recurring basis. Plaid's role is read-only; FarmFin cannot use this access to move money. You may disconnect any Plaid item at any time, which immediately deletes the access token associated with it.
Google: By granting Google access, you authorize FarmFin to (a) read and write the specific Google Sheet that FarmFin creates for your household and (b) subscribe to Drive push notifications for that Sheet so we can react to your edits. We do not browse the rest of your Drive and we do not read or modify any other file.
Households can have multiple members. The household owner can invite, remove, and transfer ownership. Invited members get access to the same household data set and can perform the same actions as the owner unless explicitly limited. The Google Sheet is shared with all current members at write level; if you no longer want a member to see the data, remove them from the household.
You agree not to use the Service to:
FarmFin is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Background sync depends on Plaid's and Google's availability and on the terms of those services. From time to time we will perform maintenance that may briefly interrupt MCP, syncing, or Sheet reactivity.
Your use of FarmFin is at your own risk. FarmFin presents data sourced from your connected institutions; the accuracy of that data is the responsibility of those institutions. You are responsible for verifying any number you intend to act on (e.g., before reconciling, filing taxes, transferring money, or making investment decisions). Categorization rules, manual entries, and AI-assisted categorizations may produce errors; review them.
Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice. FarmFin does not know your full financial picture, your jurisdiction's tax rules, or your goals. Always consult a qualified professional for advice on your specific situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrunchLabs, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, missed financial opportunities, errors in categorization or sync, unauthorized access, or service interruptions. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BrunchLabs, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or any actions taken through your connected accounts.
You may stop using FarmFin at any time by deleting your household and revoking access in your Google account and Plaid dashboard. We may suspend or terminate the Service for any user who materially violates these terms.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
